Father’s Day falls on the third Sunday of June. Indian fathers are famous for saying “I don’t need anything” — so here are a few ideas they will quietly love anyway.
Gift ideas
- A good kurta: many fathers wear the same two kurtas for every function. A well-cut cotton or linen kurta in a colour he would not pick for himself — indigo, olive, rust — is an easy win.
- Father-son (or father-daughter) matching: matching kurtas for the next family function make a gift and a photograph in one.
- Time together: a drive to his old school or hometown, a match, a meal at the place he always talks about.
- His stories: record him telling the stories you have heard a hundred times — they become priceless.
- Help with something he has been putting off: the phone setup, the paperwork, the repair.
What to wear together
- Summer-ready: June is hot — cotton and linen kurtas, short or full length.
- Coordinated, not identical: the same print in different colours, or the same colour in different prints.
Our duo edits and men’s kurtas across our collections make it easy.
Happy Father’s Day.
